BINNOC

Building innovation capabilities in European business organisations through university-enterprise co-operation

Welcome to the website of the BINNOC project.

This project was selected for Community funding in the 2008 Call for Proposals of the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission. It is an Erasmus Multilateral Project under the action “European Co-operation between Higher Education Institutions and enterprises”. Its project number is: 142783-LLP-1-2008-1-ES-ERASMUS-ECUE

The project started in October 2008 and ended in December 2010.

The main objective of the BINNOC project is to help companies to discover innovation capacities which they might already possess but which have not yet been identified. The found capacities can then be used as a starting point for the development of innovative activities in different areas of the company.

The most important aspect of the project is the fact that every activity in the work plan is designed so as to foster and reinforce co-operation between universities and enterprises.

In order to make this possible, BINNOC is being carried out by a multi-actor partnership composed by 9 universities and enterprise institutions form Spain, Finland, Lithuania and United Kingdom.
